Rupert of Hentzau is a 1957 British television film version of the novel Rupert of Hentzau. It starred Robert Shaw and aired on Boxing Day.[1]
The Daily Telegraph called it "a rollicking good yarn to end Christmas, worth its rare dramatisation."[2]
The Manchester Evening News wrote "superbly cast, it captured all the romantic atmosphere of Ruritania."[3]
The Observer called it "a splendid holiday production" which featured "the most spirited duel in the history of the medium."[4]
