GAZ Group Bus Division

Russian Buses ([Компания Русские Автобусы Kompaniya Russkiye Avtobusy] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)), until May 2004 known as RusAvtoProm (Russian: РусАвтоПром), was created on 7 August 2000, combining several Russian bus manufacturers. It is based in the village of Maliye Vyazemy in Moscow Oblast:

  • Pavlovo Bus Factory ([Павловский автобусный завод (ПАЗ) Pavlovskiy Avtobusny Zavod (PAZ)] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)), minibus and Aurora coach manufacturers;
  • Kurgan Bus Factory ([Курганский автобусный завод (КАВЗ) Kurganskiy Avtobusny Zavod (KAVZ)] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)), the middle class and a special vehicles;
  • Likinsky Bus Factory ([Ликинский автобусный завод (ЛиАЗ) Likinskiy Avtobusny Zavod (LiAZ)] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)), full sized bus manufacturers;
  • Golitsynskii Bus Factory ([Голицынский автобусный завод (ГолАЗ) Golitsynskiy Avtobusny Zavod (GolAZ)] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)), long-distance coach manufacturers;
  • Kanashsky Auto Aggregate Factory ([Канашский автоагрегатный завод (КААЗ) Kanashskiy Avtoagregatny Zavod (KAAZ)] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help), bus chassis producers.

In 2005, during the restructuring of the production assets of RusAvtoProm, the company was incorporated into the GAZ Group, forming the "Buses Division".
