SM City Cagayan de Oro is a shopping mall owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings, the largest mall operator in the Philippines. It is the first SM Supermall in Northern Mindanao. The mall, which is surrounded by subdivisions and condominiums, is located along Fr. Masterson Avenue Cor. Gran Via St., Pueblo de Oro Township, Uptown Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental.[1] It opened on November 15, 2002 with a total gross floor area of 87,000+ m2 on a 5.2 hectares land.

Physical details[edit]

The mall features anchors like SM Department Store, SM Supermarket and SM Cinemas with four theaters. It has service centers, specialty stores and restaurants. It also has indoor and outdoor parking spaces. The mall has undergone a major renovation which was finished by the first quarter of 2012. Renovation of mall's Cyberzone is ongoing since late 2016 and is set to open this 2017.

The car park building houses a kart racing track on its roof deck .[2]
