San Carlos District is a district (distrito) of West Panamá Province in Panama. The population according to the 2000 census was 15,541.[1]The district covers a total area of 337 km². The capital lies at the city of San Carlos.[1]

Administrative divisions

The district is divided administratively into the following corregimientos:

San Carlos (capital), El Espino, El Higo, Guayabito, La Ermita, La Laguna, Las Uvas, Los Llanitos and San José.
