Sarab (Persian: سراب)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Sarab Rural District of the Central District of Eyvan County, Ilam province, Iran.[4]

The village is populated by Kurds.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,522 in 349 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,506 people in 398 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,413 people in 415 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
