Scirpophaga tongyaii is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Lewvanich in 1981.[1] It is found in China (Hainan, Yunnan), India, Myanmar and Thailand.[2]

The wingspan is 25–29 mm for males and 31–39 mm for females. The fore- and hindwings are of the males are pale ochreous white. Females have white fore- and hindwings with an ochreous yellow anal tuft.[3]
