The slender-billed scimitar babbler (Pomatorhinus superciliaris) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family.

subspecies Xiphirhynchus superciliaris superciliaris from Zuluk in Pangolakha Wildlife Sanctuary, East Sikkim, Sikkim, India.
Note the unusually long bill used for probing crevices from Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary, Arunachal Pradesh, India.

It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
