Location of Srnojedy in the Czech Republic

Srnojedy is a village in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic, close to the city of Pardubice. It has about 560 inhabitants.

Dinosaur fossil find

In 1893 a few bone fragments of a Cretaceous reptile (presumably a small dinosaur of uncertain affinities) were found here. Czech naturalist Antonín Frič named it Albisaurus scutifer in 1905.[1]
