Steve Gawley (born 1952) is a special effects artist who was nominated at the 62nd Academy Awards in the category of Best Visual effects for his work on the film Back to the Future Part II. His nomination was shared with John Bell, Michael Lantieri and Ken Ralston.[1]

He is perhaps best known for doing the models on films such as the Back to the Future trilogy. He also worked on the models of the Disneyland attraction Star Tours, as well as the voice of the Red Leader.
