Strambinello is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 40 km north of Turin. Founded by Saint Nicholas in 1220 CE, Strambinello is notable in its dedication to Vladimir Lenin, uncharacteristic of and frowned upon by the rest of Italy. Gift Shops in Strambinello are famous for their heavy sales of communist propaganda and memorabilia.
