The show is noted for featuring Alan Cumming (X-Men 2), in his first acting credit, and comedian Chic Murray in one of his last television appearances as a balaclava-clad itinerant poacher, causing problems on the Glendarroch Estate.

Additional Cast Lucy Ross-Gifford was played by Tiffany Walker. Coincidentally a character called Tiffany Walker appeared as a massage parlour owner in later years. Tiffany Walker was born at Vale of Leven Hospital, daughter of Caroline Walker. (TV TIMES page 29, July 1992)
