Ems Telegram and more
[edit]I'm pressed for time so I'll keep this short, this page needs a lot more on the Ems Telegram (it deserves a main subsection). It also needs subsections for each of the historical events that mark it, i.e. function as de-facto roman-gall border beginning, more on historical uses, and of course its diplomatic importance. A lot can be said about this little town, and I'm surprised it hasn't been said already. UPDATE: I have reviewed the german language article and it is quite good. If some anglo-german scholar is willing, a translation of that page would be great. --Klopsikon (talk) 02:07, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
i suggest to add
[edit]the name was simply Ems until 1913 (at least WIKI-IT claims so)
a reference to the Ems congress of 1786 (see Pio VI)
thanks. pietro
