Note re restoration from earlier speedy deletion

[edit]

I've restored this article, which I had previously speedy deleted under A7 (web), after approach by the article's creator and subsequent research. Although I'm still fairly skeptical about this article's value and notability (and the content and style needs considerable work), it could possibly be argued that it meets WP:WEB notability criteria as a widely-ditributed "internet phenomenon" as there are more than a few independent mentions of it; see also List of internet phenomena. I for one wouldn't be that fussed if someone wanted to put it up for AfD, but given the multiple references to it which can be found it is not an absolutely clear case for speedy deletion.--cjllw | TALK 08:59, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Improvement, cites and sources

[edit]

This article was saved again, thanks to all who voted to keep this. However, I can see the point of the editor who nominated the article, it lacks citations and sources and needs to be improved, check the Star Wars kid page for reference, it was also voted for deletion twice before, kept and improved. Thanks to the editor who added the links to the newspapers; altough they're in spanish, those will help a lot. As soon as I have time, I'll see how I can improve this article. Good Luck. Emperor (band)

[edit]

I noticed that about halfway through the article, when discussing how the commercial was made for Emperor brand cookies, someone made it link to the page for the black metal band Emperor, which has less than nothing to do with this. I've removed the link, just wanted to point out what I had. ZaininOmega (talk) 02:39, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Maybe we should have a page on this northern accent. Just an idea. RocketMaster (talk) 20:10, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's Édgar, not Edgar

[edit]

I corrected the article. The name is Édgar, with an accent on the e. I give the explanation in Spanish: Édgar es un palabra grave no terminada en vocal, n o s, luego lleva acento en la sílaba tónica. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrincodi (talkcontribs) 00:38, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I know a lot of mexican people named Edgar and they never add a tilde at the beginning of their name --2601:647:4801:8474:452:99BE:C5D3:8EEF (talk) 03:17, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
