The title should be 1-Bromopentane
[edit]The title should be changed to 1-Bromopentane to be consistent with the other haloalkane articles, like 1-Bromopropane and 1-Bromobutane. Michael7604 (talk) 03:16, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- It was there before, but I changed it to amyl bromide when moving it to draft space. Can't recall why. Thank you. Reconrabbit (talk|edits) 03:19, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- You are an energetic editor, which is great. But, you are not a chemist, much less an organic chemist. Evidence: "Clear, light yellow liquid". So, you might stick with formatting issues where you are helpful, but avoid chemical content.--Smokefoot (talk) 14:43, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- I've made some particularly embarrassing mistakes recently. This is one of them. Will be more careful in the future. Reconrabbit (talk|edits) 18:46, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
- you have nothing to be embarrassed about! Many chem editors have decades and decades of hands-on experience with chemistry and chemicals. We would know that amyl bromide is colorless, and that is just the superficial stuff. --Smokefoot (talk) 19:41, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
