First Federally Recognized group

[edit]

The article says that the group, federally recognized on 1 October 1946 was the first group to receive recognition. However.

103d Fighter Group federally recognized 7 August 1946
116th Fighter Group federally recognized 9 September 1946
127th Fighter Group federally recognized 29 September 1946
131st Fighter Group federally recognized 15 July 1946
132d Fighter Group federally recognized 23 August 1946
142d Fighter Group federally recognized 30 August 1946
146th Fighter Group federally recognized 14 September 1946

Although I can't provide a jump cite, these dates are mostly from 1946 Air Defense Command histories. If no one provides contrary information, I'll return to delete the statement. --Lineagegeek (talk) 23:25, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
