Vandalism[edit]

Wouldn't it be easier to just add the summaries back in? The fancy storm pics aren't unneeded, and they only removed two or three summaries. I wouldn't consider that vandalism. Its also incorrect though Hink the min pressure of Gabrielle in the addition is 941 mb but the TCR reports 935. One factual error in addition to the nonsense at the top and the subtle vandalism. There's something that has REALLY irritated me. Those infoboxes give too much info and they don't show up in the main page, such as Total damages, Total fatalities and Areas affected. I am getting the info from the Unisys website. Is this site give official stats or not? If not, what is, and what is a link to that site? I noticed Gabrielle has a low pressure of 927 hPa, instead of 935. RaNdOm26 09:58, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Issues[edit]

The project discussed a couple weeks ago that we should be using our track maps versus the NHC track maps, so the track map needs to be swapped out. Also, the article is missing a timeline, which all of our GA/FA season articles have. The use of non-breaking spaces is non-uniform in the article. If you're going to use them between dates (like in the middle of June 13), it should be done that way throughout the article. I added missing nbsps into the lead. It does not appear that November 30 has been referenced as the ending date of the 1989 season, or the the hurricane season is when most of the activity typically occurs, so I added fact tags. I have upgraded the article to C class since it looks reasonable complete, has proper structure, and has many references. Thegreatdr (talk) 14:01, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Felix article requested merge[edit]
