"Spring Break Quake"

[edit]

I'll buy that, though I haven't actually heard anyone refer to it at all lately. I just called it "Oh $#@%! What's Going On?" :) But if you can find a reliable source for the name at some point, that would be ideal. Katr67 14:54, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that's hardly a challenge with Google these days. I'm just having trouble deciding on which of the dozens of hits that "spring break quake" turns up to use! Also Portal:Oregon/Selected anniversaries calls it by that name as well. As for local references, the last two recent local quakes, one in Tualatin (which I felt), and one in Canby, both prompted mention of the Spring Break Quake by the local news stations. --Billdorr 22:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Casualties

[edit]

How can there be no casualties (sidebar) when several people were injured by falling glass (article)? A casualty is someone "killed or injured in a war or accident."
