Merge

[edit]

A merge with FA Cup 2005-06 was proposed by User:Ed g2s but no reason was given. I am opposed to the merger because (1) the size of the combined article would be huge (2) The Final article is all about one single match, and contains (or will contain) detailed info pertinent only to this match. It warrants a full article, as other finals have.

I concur with Slumgum. The purpose of the 2 articles is not the same and neither would be improved by the proposed merger. leaky_caldron 20:59, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. Several FA Cup Finals have their own pages already. If anything, some formating (players box especially) should be imported from these. 81.107.34.65 10:23, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I also agree with the above comments. (What a great final it was!) ShizuokaSensei 12:08, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's been five days. The merge proposal will now be deleted. By me.

POV

[edit]

Another tag unaccompanied by an explanation. No reason was given and I really can't spot any POV so I have removed the tag. There does appear to be more information relating to Liverpool in the lead, but I think that is reflective of the news at the time. Before anyone asks, I am not a Liverpool fan. ;o)  Slumgum T. C.   00:47, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
