Not too sure why this article got tagged so quickly. Has already been referenced, with more to follow. This is one of 6 conference tournaments that guarantees entrance into the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship. Plenty of sources to back this up. Another example of a similar tournament is 2008 WCHA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. These conference tournament articles exist for most major NCAA sports.
