Jered Weaver[edit]

According to [1] Jered Weaver cannot be named to replace Sabathia until Sunday. So I removed him. I am also going to remove the note saying Sabathia will be unable to play since technically that's not true until he officially starts on Sunday. And if we include that note for him, we'd have to include it for several other of Sunday's confirmed starters (including Weaver - oddly enough.) Smartyllama (talk) 13:34, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

True. This goes for more than just Weaver. I removed that notation from Trevor Cahill since, for all we know, the managers will not run those guys out on Sunday for whatever reason. Those players aren't eligible to be replaced on the All Star team until they throw a pitch on Sunday. As soon as they throw the first pitch, they will be ineligible to play in the game, and only then can their replacement be officially named. --Muboshgu (talk) 13:55, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Coaching staffs?[edit]

Usually the managers select two other managers as honorary coaches for the game. I haven't seen if Girardi and Manuel did that this year. Did they? If so, who? --Muboshgu (talk) 01:29, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
