The result of the move request was: not moved per WP:PRECISION -- JHunterJ (talk) 11:40, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Was going to wait until the AfD was over, but since its been moved once already may as well do this now. (Also I'm not sure how to formally request that it be moved, someone who does feel free to reformat this for me).
Request move to 2012 Norwegian Air Force C-130 crash
Reason: To avoid confusion with the passenger airline Norwegian Air Shuttle which operates as "Norwegian". I realize that Norwegian doesn't operate the C-130, but this may not be immediately obvious to someone without a lot of aviation knowledge simply looking at a list of plane crashes. 2012 Norwegian C-130 crash → 2012 Norwegian Air Force C-130 crash – There you go. Mentoz86 (talk) 02:07, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- Suggest 2012 Royal Norwegian Air Force C-130 crash, since it is the Royal Norwegian Air Force. 70.24.244.198 (talk) 08:35, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- I think just "Norwegian" is fine, the same way we don't just "Kingdom of Norway" (which is the official name) instead of "Norway". (The Norwegian name of the air force, "Luftforsvaret", is nothing so grand: it simply means "the air defense".) /Julle (talk) 08:57, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- If you want to go that way, you could make it shorter 2012 Norwegian military C-130 crash. 70.24.244.198 (talk) 11:28, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

- Oppose per WP:PRECISION: be precise, but only as precise as necessary. ENeville (talk) 03:01, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
