Updated Map

[edit]

Hello. It's been quite a few years since I've been back around and forget how to update maps or create them. The map of county results is off a bit, I enclosing a map of the county results. Just wanted to let that be known! All the best to all! [1] America69 (talk) 22:38, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What does the plus/minus percentage mean for the final results?

[edit]

I was not sure what was the meaning and interpretation of the plus/minus percentages for the final results. Elsewhere, it seems that it means the margin of error for polling. However, these are the final results, so there is no margin of error. They also don't make sense to be some kind of deviation from the mean or any other statistic that seemed to make sense. ChunyangD, I believe it's supposed to represent the change in percent of votes won by the Democratic/Republican candidate compared to the 2012 election; the math does check out, but the use here is strange. SounderBruce 01:19, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
SounderBruce, that does make sense to me! Should I edit the table heading? I looked at other gubernatorial election pages, and it does indeed appear that they all follow the same format... However, I don't think that it's clear if you are not familiar with it. ChunyangD (talk) 01:52, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ChunyangD, The header is part of the Election box template, which is very intricate and is used on a lot of pages. Changes can be requested on the template talk page, but it's unlikely to take hold, considering that the implementation here is not as the designers intended. County Map

[edit]

Jay Inslee got a plurality of the vote in Pierce County, including write-ins. I'm not sure how to change the county map, but I would like it if someone could do it. Thomascampbell123 (talk) 00:17, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
