V8 Supercar Template[edit]

Tagging Kytabu, Prisonermonkeys, Holdenman05, DustyFapper, Falcadore, and Impala27. Bringing attention to the template at the bottom of this page, the original found here. Its outdated as it is still the 'V8 Supercar' title instead of 'Supercar'. I know its nitpicky, and I'd make a new one for Supercars itself, but I just simply don't really know what I am doing with template editing. FullHouse97 (talk) 06:58, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to fix either of them myself. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 08:19, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Should be fixed - I tried doing the obvious thing, and if it hasn't worked then we'll revert it and try another way. Holdenman05 (talk) 09:50, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Holdenman05 — it has worked, but Template:Infobox V8 Supercar race report needs some work. In particular, it says "Round 1 of 14 in 2017". Prisonermonkeys (talk) 11:29, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not so good with those 'fixed' templates, you might want to get Kytabu onto that seeing as he helped me with the World RX one. Holdenman05 (talk) 12:40, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed Template:Infobox V8 Supercar race report - it just needed the Supercars Championship option in the series switch function.

Template:V8 race report needs a lot more work, as it now says Supercars Championship on every instance and has created broken links for every other year. It needs a switch function like on the infobox with options for ATCC, Shell Championship Series, V8SC, IVSC and SC, but someone would need to add that parameter to every instance of the template. – Kytabu 00:17, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You fix it with redirects (that's how it was done when name was changed to International V8 Supercars Championship), or have two templates, one with and one with "V8". --Falcadore (talk) 03:03, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
