Signed Players
[edit]Wondering how to highlight which players get signed to pro and developmental contracts? Another column on the table? --Coppercanuck (talk) 03:18, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- I think that would be a good option. Another column for "Draftee trial result", with a simple "Signed development contract" or "Released" as the options. This would be similar to what we see with the MLS Re-Entry Draft articles. NorthOnt001 (talk) 13:30, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- I think we could use something along the lines of Template:NBA Draft legend. For example:
* | Denotes player who has signed a professional contract |
^ | Denotes player who has signed a developmental contract |
- This would provide a good visual indication without the need for another column. UmpireRay (talk) 00:50, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
University team
[edit]Including the university sports nicknames in the draft list is both wordy and incorrect as they are never referred to as the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds or the Université du Québec à Montréal Citadins, etc.
Have a look at the following analogous college draft articles to see how this is done:
