Formatting opponents in {{Infobox NFL team season}}

Regarding edits made by Bluejay14 (revision 1 and revision 2), I simply cannot understand why it's "Texans / Titans / vs. 49ers" and not either "Texans / Titans / 49ers" or "vs. Texans / vs. Titans / vs. 49ers". There's no explaination given in either edit summary as to why the first two opponents are formatted differently to the final opponent. – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 00:45, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@PhilipTerryGraham: They indicate whether the game is at home, away, or at a neutral site. It is "vs. 49ers" instead of just "49ers" because the Super Bowl was played in Miami, a neutral site. Neither the 49ers nor the Chiefs play their home games at Hard Rock Stadium. On the other hand, the Chiefs were the home team in both the Texans and Titans games, so it's not "vs. Texans / vs. Titans". Sorry for not explaining it in my edit summary. Thanks for asking. @Bluejay14: What about the word "versus" indicates anything about home and away games at all, though? I'm unaware of such a definition of the word, especially in any of the major reputable dictionaries. – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 01:15, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
