Timeline

[edit]

The timeline should be transferred to a new page, it's becoming increasingly difficult to navigate and less and less informative. If there's no opposition to this, I'll restructure. - ☣Tourbillon A ? 07:47, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Tourbillon: In general I agree, I was planning on creating a new "Timeline of the 2020 Bulgarian protests" spin-off article, but the work that has to be done in order to synthesize the timeline heading into a more usable few paragraphs on this page is quite laborious, and with the events still unfolding it can sometimes be though to determine what the key events listed here ought to be without the power of hindsight. That's why I haven't done it yet. If you're willing to put in the work, I'm all in. Goodposts (talk) 22:50, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think a decent description of events with a few accents can already be compiled, I'll develop it on a sandbox first. - ☣Tourbillon A ? 06:27, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think you could make a decent enough description, yeah. The key moments I'd say are the various stages of the rallies (the initial rally, the socialist rally, the roadblock constructions and most importantly the "Grand National Revolt"). Am definitely on board! Goodposts (talk) 23:49, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Adding more emphasis on external reactions would be valuable too, especially after Borisov was implicated in alleged cooperation with Erdogan regarding political refugees. I'll draw up a structure in the coming days. - ☣Tourbillon A ? 08:53, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Tourbillon:: Another quote for the article, and this might be useful for the timeline? --Yupyuphello (talk) 07:26, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think those could rather go into reactions, Simeonov's statements don't exactly carry much weight, inflammatory as they are. - ☣Tourbillon A ? 11:47, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
