Can someone modify the first picture of the article as it shows a ruin (i.e. a building already in ruin BEFORE the earthquake) and is totally misleading. Shehekan (talk) 10:28, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone remove or replace first picture of the page as it shows an old RUIN, not a recently damaged building Shehekan (talk) 10:30, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

According to USAID: [1], this is a new ruin. Possible a new ruin of an old building, but a new ruin. --Kathy262 (talk) 05:21, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Political/ Gang violence section[edit]

Hi all,

I added a section about the political difficulties that Haiti is facing as it deals with this disaster. Please feel free to add to this section- I am new to editing Wikipedia so any support helps! I believe it is important to give context about the political situation in Haiti as that is a huge reason why aid is not being distributed to Haitians that need it the most. I will add to this section (especially more on gang violence) later tonight.
