BkissinOnel5969 Especially now that the election is over, there is more mainstream reporting available. I will add in some sources, such as CNN and other mainstream outlets, and expand a bit on the results. I will keep the "In These Times," "Labor Notes," and union website sources, though - even though Labor Notes and In These Times are of course sympathetic to one side over the other, they also offer some of the most in-depth and contextualized reporting (it is NOT editorializing) available on the subject. And the single source from the union itself is the actual announcement of the election itself and the procedures for the election. It is a primary source and does not favor one side or the other in the election. All of that being said, I'll add some new sources, expand a bit, and resubmit as soon as possible. Thank you for your feedback. General Lafayette 2785 (talk) 16:58, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
General Lafayette 2785 - there is no prohibition about using primary sources, they just do not go towards notability. Also, if you use them, make sure that they do not make opinionated assertions. For example, if this was about an album, and you were using the record label as a source, it's okay to use that for things like track length, and personnel, but it's not okay to use it to support the claim, "this is the greatest album by XXX in a long time". Looking at the draft, there's probably an issue with the second sentence of the last paragraph, since that's not an unbiased source, and its stating an opinion.
