This page is actually maded on the basis of public domains, like wikipedia in english, battle of Gazala, it is exactly the same information who was there only with an conflict box and three lines of context, the sources used are as i said before wikipedia in english, and a online free publication of history channel who is used only to remark the fact of Rommel being promoted to field marshall, also the Rommel papers are a "kind of source" but, since it was also of public domain as he was forced to commit suicide by the nazis in 1944, what he wrote was published by the allies
- It says "© 2019 Geni.com" at the bottom of the page unfortunately. We could revdel most of the content of the article and keep it as a stub for expansion, but since most of the content is too close to the original, we need to cut the article down to just the first couple sentences. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 03:45, 21 November 2019 (UTC)

The page who is mentioned as "copied" is not part of my source neither from my citations, but when i look for this "page on question" it have its information retrived from wikipedia, so it is not me who retrived from them, but they retrived it from an already existing article in wikipedia, cause this i believe who you should nor delete my article, but watch the page sources, and again, i took it from wikipedia and made an article of its own right, not from this page who i didn't even know who exist, but if they used wikipedia for their own source it will be logical who they wrote the same, agains apologise for my english, and take a look and help my project instead,
- Right. So they copied it from wikipedia, but where on wikipedia did you copy it from? If that is the case then it is a false flag I guess and we can ignore the copyright issue. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 03:52, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
- I'm convinced it this one is a wikipedia mirror that I missed, sorry for the inconvenience. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 03:56, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
I copied it from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Gazala#Fall_of_Tobruk — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nuevousuario1011 (talk • contribs)
- Yeah I gathered that. The other article seems to be a different issue though. See my comment over on that talk page. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 04:04, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
Proposed merger
[edit]@Nuevousuario1011:, @MB:, @Berek:, @Postcard Cathy:, @Hydromania:, @Insertcleverphrasehere:.
I propose to merge this article with Axis capture of Tobruk, which was created by me on 21 November 2019. Because this article has no wikilinks with any related articles, I was unaware of its existence. Comments please at Talk:Axis capture of Tobruk#Merger proposal. Thanks and regards, Alansplodge (talk) 18:22, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
- Yes indeed. Eastfarthingan (talk) 19:40, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
- Support. Berek (talk) 05:20, 26 November 2019 (UTC)
- Technically this one is the older one, but that one has a much more extensive history, so yes, support. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 19:35, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
