This smacks of an ad

"conversions"

why is the paragraph for the "conversions" section written like that?

just read it once:

"No current pistol caliber and no current automatic pistol design other than the products of FK BRNO can be converted to the 7.5 FK cartridge due to the longer cartridge length and higher operating pressure with the exception of the 5.7 x 28 FN caliber, though that caliber has a significantly narrower cartridge case, which renders conversion not possible."

ok so if the 5.7 cartridge is “significantly narrower” and conversion is still “not possible”, why is it added as an "exception" caveat to the statement that:

"No current pistol caliber and no current automatic pistol design other than the products of FK BRNO can be converted to the 7.5 FK cartridge due to the longer cartridge length and higher operating pressure.."

this really doesnt make a lot of sense, if somebody want to reply and ping me here to make a case for why it should be left in, ill wait a week before i take any action.

I can speculate that the nonsense language is a way to avoid saying that the cartridge is based on a slightly lengthened 10mm cartridge that will not feed in a pistol/barrel that would feed a 10mm cartridge or cartridge based on necked down 10mm cartridge brass. This is a not uncommon strategy for avoiding dangerous conditions that might otherwise result. Likewise the design probably precludes the feeding of various cartridges of similar diameter in pistols designed to chamber the 7.5FK without modification to the barrel and extraction components. As an aside I would like to mention that the LAR Grizzly pistol was intentionally designed to facilitate the feeding of a wide variety of rounds with the least number of component swaps (which it succeeded at admirably). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:6AE5:2510:0:0:0:40 (talk) 19:58, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should the article have a section which lists firearms available for this cartridge?
