- Yes, the record sleeve is censored but that doesn't mean Wikipedia should censor this. The record sleeves of Fuck You (Cee Lo Green song), Tonight (I'm Fuckin' You), Fuck the Millennium, Fuck It (Don't Want You Back), Awesome as Fuck, Fuck U Betta, Just Don't Give a Fuck and Raw as Fuck (to name just a few) also have asterisks however we use the uncensored name for those. - Oppose Fuckries isn't even a word is it, some abiguity is intended. BTW, we do pay attention to cover artwork and it is often reflected in printed sources. Probably should move some of the others to what it shows on the cover too. In ictu oculi (talk) 06:41, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- How is it relevant that Fuckries isn't a word and what do you mean "some abiguity is intended"?! The name of this song is "96 Fuckries". That's why the official YouTube video for the song is called this, the artist himself refers to it as this and so do thousands of other sources . The reason the artwork has asterisks is because iTunes, Amazon and other online stores do not allow the word "fuck" on their album artwork or in the song names in the store. Just because the name is censored in some places doesn't mean Wikipedia should censor it too. Given that there is a clear consensus that the uncensored name should be used in cases like this, you need to provide some policy-based reason why we should not use the correct title. 82.132.139.10 (talk) 18:32, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
