  • removed "is unusual" from management statement - a number of roads in the UK are operated by private companies under the DBFO and similar schemes.
  • separated route-related items from lead section.
  • moved history items from lead to history section.
  • removed "useful for M5 drivers as well" - per WP:NOTGUIDE.
  • clarified layout of junction with M5 - replaced "close to" with actual distance.
  • added ref for length.
  • added image to infobox.
  • minor punctuation fixes.
