Page moved?
[edit]Any reason why this page was moved to 69 (year)? Personally, I think this should be moved back to 69. — TheKMantalk 23:28, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
Why does this page not link to the disambiguation page for 69? ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/69_%28disambiguation%29 ) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.131.62.115 (talk) 21:09, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

My suggestion is to rename the name of one of the consuls of AD 69, namely Augustus.
The link should say Galba, since Augustus is confusing since it was the title of all senior emperors,
but mostly it refers to the first emperor Octavian--buræquete 15:58, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Buræquete: For what it's worth, that link does go to Galba.
- There are a few issues. On one hand, is the article correct to claim that during this time period, the term "Year of the Consulship of Augustus and Rufinus" was used? If so, we really can't change it because we'd be altering someone else's words. But on the other hand, there's no sourcing backing up this phrase. I Googled it and couldn't find this phrase anywhere but Wikipedia and other sites, like Revolvy, that mirror Wikipedia articles. It was added here. The editor who added that, User:Ludde23, is still seen around here, although very infrequently. If they log in any time soon, they'll get notified that they were mentioned here and maybe they'll come to help clear this up. CityOfSilver 19:04, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- Not done for now: Until we pin down the source of either of these names/phrases, this will not be done. But, I will place
{{citation needed}}
by the phrase. Upsidedown Keyboard (talk) 20:00, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
