Is he Mikhail Kalashnikov's son? Why isn't this mentioned in their respective articles? And why do they have different names?

He cant be son of M. Kalashnikov because he is Sergey I. Koksharov. Prandr
A friend of mine pointed me to this article. The final sentence in this paragraph has been unsourced since September 9th, 2005! Thats quite a long time, and with close to 60 edits since then, its wearing out its welcome. I'm going to try and find a source for it (thats what I do), but if I can't find one by say, Saturday, then I'm deleteing the final sentence. Anyone who can find a source, please do so.
