Pretty sure that Gaye himself admitted that the album is particularly moody, especially since it was made in response to his divorce from his wife, but why not just get rid of the statement then? I don't see how someone could think a song titled "Funky Space Reincarnation" would think that it looks or sounds like it's a moody song, but I don't know.
