Just wondering

[edit]

Why the added information in the personnel section was removed as it's in the liner notes of the album? llama lom (talk) 17:16, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it because it's already stated in the track listing section and doesn't need to be noted a second time. • GunMetal Angel 06:39, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There was information about guest solos that aren't mentioned and are the main reason for my edit. llama lom (talk) 04:29, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That information isn't sourced while the inclusions for the guest vocals are. - If you have a source, bring it right here and show me. • GunMetal Angel 05:02, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It says so in the album's liner notes, and I can't find anything about exactly how to source them, and others have simply just stated they were in the liner notes, like here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deflorate llama lom (talk) 17:44, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the revision and added-back in the information. It's okay, if it's in the notes then it's all good. • GunMetal Angel 18:21, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Song about Phil Bozeman's mother's death

[edit]

There has been some edit warring going on concerning "Murder Sermon" or "Animus" being the song written about the death of vocalist, Phillip Bozeman's madré. Prior to the album's release, another user added the content of this stated information based upon an interview of what some of the tracks were written about, and yes, as I know the source says that "Murder Sermon" is the song written about his mom's death, but the source is wrong. I believed this too as another few users came along and changed it "Animus", which were reverted by me, but after some investigation; it's clear that "Murder Sermon" does not feature anything remotely close to that topic. Someone made a mistake back upon typing-up and posting the interview online or something because take a look here. This is the song with the lyrics enclosed for "Animus", clear that it's written about someone close to him that died, while if you check the lyrics for "Murder Sermon", that song in general has nothing to do with death. • GunMetal Angel 06:39, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bozeman's words in an interview with SMN: "Basically my dad died and she re-married years later and met my step-dad who hooked her on drugs and he promised to 'save' our family and make things right. Well, if that meant hooking my mother on crack cocaine and causing her to over-dose and die then he succeeded. If I could murder anyone in the world he would be my first pick." So he wrote "Murder Sermon" with his stepfather in mind, "Murder Sermon" is nessesarily about him killing his stepdad. "Animus" is actually the song about his mother's death in whole. So this solids my point. • GunMetal Angel 05:40, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
