Synopsis Inaccurate
[edit]My wife and i just read the book together, and we see there are a few inaccuracies in the Synopsis section.
First, Cellini was not famous, and purposefully avoided fame. Next, "upon awakening", it's not that she craves more, but that she finds herself just about completely healed of her afflictions, and suspects that it was the drink given to her, but does not know. Next, Heliobas is not her guardian angel, nor is it he who whisks her thru the solar system, but HIS guardian angel Azul. Again she never seemed to be "longing for more", but she did have a healthy scientific curiosity. She does not take on a "series of meditative disciplines" at all, but spends her time with the beautiful, young-looking sister of Heliobas, Zara, just about falling in love with her. Heliobas does give her some ancient scrolls which disclose life and youth prolonging disciplines which are "simple and easy" to follow. Finally, she is not "locked away in a monastery", she is in fact staying at the Hotel Mars, which is the mansion / hotel owned by Heliobas.
