Does Taran Adarsh really deserve a space on wikipedia?

[edit]

I have never ever found one review by Taran Adarsh which is really unbiased and is written keeping the journalism conscious alive. Had it been only my perception, I would not have wasted the time of others by making them read all this, however, am saying so as almost all the times complete media fraternity (including the masses at large) feels the other way but Adarsh has a different take. Isn't this a straightaway abuse of position? Ever heard of content marketing, eh? Fanofbollywood (talk) 09:25, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

1000% agree...and not only taran aadarsh there are many whose review always look as biased and part of PR campaign of movie..But what choice we have.Unlike US we don't have Rotten tomatoes or MetaCritic active.--abhishek (talk) 06:15, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Why can't we do anything about it? Drop Taran Adarsh and it is solved, we can always derive a consensus. There was not even a single critic who rated it past 2.5-3 but Taran justifies 4-4.5 also, rather that is the reason from where people get the guts to write "positive to mixed", there was no mixed as far as Aarakshan was concerned it was a clear thumbs down.

Disclaimer: I do not have anything against the movie, but the way articles here are being drafted these days. Fanofbollywood (talk) 07:45, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article looks biased agains the movie

[edit]

The critical accalim section of this article included only those critic reviews who gave Aarakshan thumbs down, while large number of critic reviews and most of the reviews from Hollywood have given Aarakshan a thumbs up and must recommendation. This article seems to be written with prejudice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.99.166.60 (talk) 05:34, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am disappointed that you didn't sign the post, anyway, you see the beauty of wikipedia lies in the fact that anyone (including you) can edit any article as long as you have proper citations to back-up your claims. If you think that way, then I encourage you to edit the article supporting it with "Hollywood" references.Fanofbollywood (talk) 11:14, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
