It seems as if I read someplace that Miss Caselotti's contract with Walt Disney gave HIM control over what opportunities she could and could not pursue, and that it was HIS decision that she not spoil the illusion of Snow White.

"It goes without saying that Adriana herself was also vocally gifted, given her strong musical background." Very POV. Removing it. Sailorknightwing (talk) 23:34, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi. You should also mention that she had a small part in It's a Wonderful Life. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0143314/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.7.201.71 (talk) 16:08, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

IMDB web site claims Caselotti was widowed 3 times. May want to fact check about all the divorces.

Who is Juliet? That doesn't seem right. 86.166.130.203 (talk) 10:25, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

She sings "Wherefore art thou, Romeo?" in "If I Only Had a Heart". WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 23:44, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

"In the mid-1930s, Adriana Caselotti was hired by Walt Disney to help cast parts in his new film." That doesn't sound right -- she was 19 years old. This needs rethinking and rewriting. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 23:44, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Adriana Caselotti passed away on Jan 17, 1997 at the age of 80 from esophogal (throat)cancer. While Walt Disney was zealous in protecting the sound of Snow White's voice, like Annette Funicello's image as a former Mouseketeer, he would not have been able to legally prevent the career's of either of these women, both of whom had only positive memories of him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.177.18.158 (talk) 04:36, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Can't you guys title your comments?

Come on, this is just pitiful! You're Wikipedians, right? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.197.6.19 (talk) 05:36, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Date of birth

According to reliable sources such as The Guardian linked in the references section, Caselotti was born on May 6th. Any changes to the date will need to include equally reliable sourcing as well as a notation within the article noting the discrepancy in reporting. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 21:57, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Thanksgiving 1972

November 22, 1972 was a Wednesday. Thanksgiving fell the following day that year, Nov. 23, not Nov. 22 (it always falls on a Thursday). Check the date of the Julie Andrew TV show again. Easy enough to figure out. It was the ninth anniversary of JFK's murder, 1963, a date that indelibly was a Friday and was unforgettable. Dates of course fall on following days of the week in succeeding years (52 weeks + 1 day= 365 days), plus one additional day for each Leap Day (1964, 1968, 1972). Thus, 12 days later from Friday, Nov. 22, 1963 was Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1972. (This can be verified in about two seconds on Google). People writing Wiki articles should be more careful. disney read along audiobook

Hello I recently listened to the disney readalong boos for the Jungle Book and Peter and the Wolf, and there is a female narrator that sounds an aweful lot like Ms. Caselotti. I heard her in a video on youtube from 1992, and the voice in the audiobook readalongs from Disney sounds exactly like hers, only with a very slight greenlandic accent. I'm wondering if we shoudl mention that she narrated several disney read-alongs in the 60's and 70's? thanks. 199.101.62.55 (talk) 18:15, 14 April 2017 (UTC)

You would need to find a reliable source that we could include to allow readers to verify that it was indeed her.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 18:16, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

I shall get into that. it's really hard to find stuff about her as disney did hold her under a contract, but i'll post an update when and if i find something. thanks. 199.101.62.55 (talk) 03:06, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
