African popular music
[edit]User:Nosugarcoating, African popular music (like American popular music) which is a branch of popular music is not a music genre, rather a term used to refer to any of a number of African musical genres "having wide appeal". And you don't just follow protocols on wikipedia without WP:RS. Europop is a genre, if you look closely you will see that the article is very different from African popular music. You can create an article about Afro pop music instead (and be sure to cite sources), donot use this article, because that will just complicate things for readers. - Alright, but next time please make a note on the talk page before reverting an article especially on edits like this which are not vandalism. You could easily wrongly be seen as perpetrating edit warring. I will review this article when I have time, to see the implications and whether a sort of infobox is still needed (if I determine that an infobox is needed, I'll put up a voting system here for experienced editors to vote on which infobox best fits the article without causing complication for readers). --Nosugarcoating (talk) 07:42, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Your edit was not reverted without explanation. There was an edit summary. Stanleytux (talk) 08:05, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
