Kerry Condon

[edit]

CloudKade11 (talk · contribs) has repeatedly added Kerry Condon with no source despite repeated requests to source. Per WP:V, anything that is challenged requires a source. It is inadequate to simply state "Doesn't need to be sourced when they are credited." (And by the way, Melissa McBride is listed in the credits but does NOT appear in the episode.) That may work for unchallenged material, but not when the item has been removed numerous times by several editors. I have seen no evidence on IMDb or anywhere (except for CloudKade11's opinion) that Condon has a significant enough role (if any role) in the episode to merit inclusion in infobox. 107.15.200.87 (talk) 20:30, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

IMDb is not a reliable source. Just because she is not credited there does not mean she wasn't credited in the episode. Kerry Condon clearly made an appearance at the beginning of the episode. If you don't believe me go back and watch it yourself. That's if you even watch this show. Just because you did not see her doesn't automatically mean she did not appear. I'm also loving your lack of effort in seeing if she really did appear or not. CloudKade11 (talk) 20:40, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The overriding issue here is WP:V, which you have repeatedly violated. ALL information must be sourced if challenged, even cast lists and plot summary. And IMDb is perfectly reliable for cast lists (that part of IMDb has editorial control). In fact, there is not a better source for cast lists than IMDb. And please explain how Melissa McBride is in the credits but does NOT appear in the episode. CloudKade11, others in addition to me have challenged your edit. You are skating on very thin ice here. If you add the material again without a source, our next discussion will be at WP:ANI. 107.15.200.87 (talk) 20:49, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I just reviewed the episode, and Kerry Condon is not credited at all—whether on-screen or in the end credits, nor does she appear on the AMC website for the episode under credits. Unlike her cameo appearance in "Too Far Gone", where she is credited in the end credits as "also starring" and appears on the AMC website for the episode under credits. All you see is a walker that resembles the character of Clara in the background with her back facing you. Even if it's suppose to be Clara, it's not Kerry Condon (because she's not credited) and more than likely just an extra portraying her given you don't even see her face. She should be removed from the infobox because it's misleading to say Kerry Condon appeared in the episode. Drovethrughosts (talk) 14:28, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Drovethrughosts. After this conflict started, I also reviewed every second of the episode and saw no evidence that Condon appears. Even if she appeared for a few moments in a recap of previous episodes (which she did not), that does not merit including her in the infobox, where only the most salient actors/characters should be included. And I'll risk repeating myself that the most important issue is WP:V, and anything that has been challenged (especially by several editors), including plot or cast members, must be sourced. I'll give this a couple more days. If there is no consensus here to keep Condon in the infobox, it will be removed. CloudKade11, if you wish to get more opinions, you should follow the standard WP:DR process, which can include a WP:RFC. 107.15.200.87 (talk) 15:49, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
