[edit]Interesting town! Does the US have any villages? deeptrivia (talk) 23:21, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
- Officially, No. Under Oklahoma law incorporated communities are either towns or cities. Unincorporated communities are called just that, and may have certain rights if they are platted. Otherwise unincorported areas are under the jurisdiction of the local board of county commissioners. OKtag 19:41, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Lincoln County
[edit]Hello All! I'm going to be taking any information about Agra, Oklahoma that I can get along with other towns located in Lincoln County for update. Please send your information to: benjitabor@sbc.global.net Thank You!
Information
[edit]Sir, It's hard to find information seeing as how a tornado destroyed the Lincoln County courthouse with all the records in the 1930's. There is a small historical archive building a few blocks downtown from the courthouse. Also, People from Carney, Tryon, etc. may have information as well. I don't know what's left of the ghost towns like Avery and Parkland, but it might be usefull to look there too.
Photographs
[edit]I have photographs of this location if anyone is interested. Please see the above email address.
I have yet to see the photos. Can you please email them? 137.240.136.81 (talk) 19:36, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
