Fozzy?

[edit]

I think Fozzy makes a cameo in this movie, but I'm not sure, anyone know? Gopherbassist 18:32, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ermm, Fozzy was formed in 2000. So I would doubt that the band would have been in a movie in 1994, considering that Chris Jericho hadn't even started wrestling then, and the other members of Fozzy weren't even in Stuck Mojo or Sickspeed at that point.
yeah, -1 for you.

chris jericho did make a cameo in airheads but not with fozzy.jericho was 2 years into his wrestling career at the time of this movie but hadn't made it to a big promotion yet (ecw, wcw, wwe). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.234.252.68 (talk) 20:22, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nirvana

[edit]

I heard from a few different people that Nirvana was originally supposed to be the band that was later replaced with White Zombie. Which is weird, 'cuz they aren't even close to the same kind of band, and neither is like Chaz's faux band in the movie. Anyway, since I have nothing to cite and back up my info, I'm just gonna post it here on the talk page, maybe somebody better than me will see this and do some leg work.

I am the writer of Airheads, Rich Wilkes. No, Nirvana was never scheduled to be in the movie. As far as I know, White Zombie was the first choice.[1] GerryAldini (talk) 18:29, 26 June 2023 (UTC) Rich Wilkes[reply]

Studdering John

[edit]

Stuttering John from the Howard Stern show made a cameo in the movie as well. "I used to masterbate... Constantly!" Tpen 11:35, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Van Halen Controversy

[edit]

I never understood the controversy that was asked of Harold Ramis. Can someone please explain? Tpen 11:36, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

people sided with dave because there was no excuse for the greatest frontman in rock and roll being kicked out of the biggest band in the world. no one cared why he was booted out. looking back, we have since learned that eddie van halen is a dick and david lee roth is super-annoying.

PA

[edit]

To the band's dismay, they find only the PA is real and everything else is just props.

What is "PA"? Sasha1024 (talk) 09:20, 10 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

PA is the amplifier for the vocals. It stands for the Public Address system. GerryAldini (talk) 18:31, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cast of Brendan Fraser

[edit]

The newly added info about Adam Sandler having to beg the director to cast Brendan Fraser is false. In that video used as the source, Sandler is teasing Fraser. I am the writer and I was there and that never happened. After that video came out, I even spoke with the director, Michael Lehmann, and he confirmed that it was not true.
