Notability, reliable sources, likely COI

[edit]

This article should not have been published to Wikipedia. Some assertions are to the subject's own website, or that of his company, and the author(s) likely is the subject of the article, or closely associated with him (the full history of the original AFC text has been blanked for copyright violations), and their only edits were to this and related subjects.

The article is too reliant on sources which are neither independent nor third-party. And those sources do not support the effusive characterizations (the instrumental (sic); globally acclaimed). And while it has been cleaned of clear copyright violations, there likely is still close paraphrasing.

I suggest this article be deleted by its creator by placing the {{db-author}} template on the article, as it does not appear that the subject meets our standards for notability based on independent and reliable third-party sources. Wikipedia should reflect notability and not be used to create it. And it is not intended to host curricula vitae. Kablammo (talk) 02:53, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

SCIART23 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) also created Institute of Bioinformatics, Bangalore, of which the subject of this article is the founder and chief scientific officer. SCIART23, who created this article in draft space (with copyright violations) moved it themselves to mainspace. The subject's own website is used to support claims of awards. In addition, WP:PROF is not clearly met. Kablammo (talk) 12:52, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
