Site location
[edit]Anyone has googlemaps coordinates for this site? Milliped 00:55, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- Using the '16 miles north of Dorchester' clue, I used the GE measuring tool and found the site very quickly. The Google Earth photo active as at April 2009 shows a very nice set of crop marks at 51°52′42″N 1°10′10″W / 51.87833°N 1.16944°W
- The road to the south is also clearly visible for quite a distance and I was able to trace a path from where that stopped all the way to Dorchester, give or take the odd wiggle. EatYerGreens (talk) 01:04, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- By the wy, I've taken the liberty of inserting a section title above your entry. I hope this isn't considered by anyone as interfering with another user's contribution to the discussion page. EatYerGreens (talk) 01:04, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
