Organizational Synthesis[edit]

Someone had linked synthesis, which is not entirely correct. The link should be to "organizational synthesis" which is a historiographical interpretation of U.S. (and maybe world) industrial development. The best definition or article section on WP is Alfred D. Chandler, Jr.#Organizational synthesis. So for now, I think it best to leave it as a red-link. "alfred d. chandler jr" is a "good article" (GA). a detailed bibliography of his works would be very-very useful

Last edited at 14:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC). Substituted at 07:15, 29 April 2016 (UTC) Chamberlain is an odd citation. He has what appears to be a self published book on Amazon. It would be more appropriate to cite someone much more established regarding Chandler's importance. This citation looks to be self-serving.

Also, Fligstein's observation should be noted as opinion (not fact).
