  • What I think should be changed (include citations):

The "Representation Services" section could use a lot more detail. There is a lack of information here. Please consider updating to the following:

Along with serving as the collective bargaining agent for the 14,000 pilots of American Airlines, APA provides a broad range of additional member services, which include lobbying on behalf of its members in Washington, D.C. APA leadership understands that the direction of the airline pilot profession is determined in large measure by policymakers in Washington, D.C. The APA Government Affairs Committee is entrusted with serving as the voice of APA pilots in our nation's capital.

APA’s positions on important aviation safety- and security-related issues are based on its pilots’ perspectives as subject-matter experts. All APA Government Affairs Committee members are current line-flying pilots for American Airlines with thousands of hours of experience in large civilian transport and high-performance military aircraft.

APA’s legislative success is due in part to the strength of the union’s Political Action Committee (PAC) fund. The APA PAC is used solely for congressional campaigns and does not fund any other APA expenses or salaries. APA is also a member of the Washington, D.C.-based Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations, which includes approximately 28,000 professional pilots who work for a variety of passenger and cargo carriers.

APA devotes more than 20% of its dues income to support aviation safety.

  • Why it should be changed:

Lacking in details.

This has been done. ABT021 (talk) 03:36, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It appears to be, but I'm going to remove the text and mark this as declined as there is no source for this and the request above. DrewBoterf, please provide a reliable secondary source for these requests. ~StyyxTalk? 20:09, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
