Homer mentions Diores takes part in the trojan war, and apparently a Diores is the father of Automedon. Could they have been the same guy, making Amarynceus the paternal grandfather of Automedon?
Hyginus saying that Amarynceus took part in the expedition to Troy sorta complicates this though, because if 3 generations took part, Automedon would have to be rather young and Amarynceus would have to be rather old.
Are there any indications of the relative ages of these guys which could clarify things? ScratchMarshall (talk) 22:46, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
