Last names

[edit]

It is Wikipedia policy not to add personal details about a living person without citation. See WP:BLP. Alleged last names, hometowns, etc. all have to be cited. See, for example, The Bachelor (season 18)#Contestants. --Tenebrae (talk) 20:35, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-Protection

[edit]

Please, can someone put a semi-protection for this article, so the drama with the summaries does not happen again?

Origin vs. heritage

[edit]

When the origin of a contestant is from outside the United States (such as in Mirjana's case), I believe it makes sense to note that beside the contestant's hometown. However, the heritage of a contestant should not be so noted.

Every person has heritage from somewhere, and only including the heritage of Adam and Shei as Asian-Americans is both inconsistent and inappropriate, as it seems to value racial and ethnic groups differently. The same should be true for all Top Model pages, which consistently make notes of what is decided by editors to be "exotic" heritage, most notably the heritage of black models in European series. Therefore, I request that such notes of a contestant heritage not be included in the Contestants section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.33.207.139 (talk) 14:14, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am not an editor but I agree with this. The heritage of Adam and Shei has no relevancy to the overall competition or article aside from the Episode 8 when ancestry had a theme in the photoshoot. I've been wondering for months why it is still included in the contestant table.72.199.12.172 (talk) 20:26, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Call-out Order and Finale Summaries

[edit]

Could someone not put in the winner of the show or the summaries when the episodes haven't even aired yet? Perhaps put a lock on the article until the finale? I've removed the summaries and change the table. Revan46 19:20, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
