Redirect

[edit]

Amnesty International USA is a large organisation with a seperate history to that of Amnesty International. Many of the things the organisation campaigns on are unique to AI USA. It has over 350,000 members, and as such is far more notable than the vast majority of orgs on this encyclopedia. Plus you created a double redirect - if you think that the org is deletable then you should AfD it. Not asking for comment on the talk page is another blatant discourtesy. I've rv'd at as a result. Whoops. For some reason I figured that this article had been created mistakenly as a duplicate - I wasn't aware that the two were distinct. Given that they are, however, I have no objection to this article's existence. Sorry, and carry on! Zetawoof(ζ) 05:39, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hateful comments in AIUSA's Death Penalty Blogs Page

[edit]

Amnesty International USA used to be a good website, until it is polluted by racist pro-death penalty activists spewing hateful comments and garbage in its Death Penalty blogs shown here. I thought the website was anti-death penalty! What happened to it?! --Angeldeb82 (talk) 23:00, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You know what? Screw the AIUSA "Death Penalty" blogs, because they are all filled with comments from too much pro-death penalty people who only believe in "an eye for an eye" and that the death penalty is a "deterrent that brings justice and closure, and the low-cost, ultimate, final solution". Though I'm anti-death penalty, I've decided not to join the website (which was supposed to be anti-DP) to avoid more insulting comments from too many DP supporters. I quit. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 16:59, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Here's more hateful garbage in AIUSA's blogs shown here and here. These people truly hate AIUSA and accuse it of reporting lies and other evil because they hate sinners and punish them with death and always support torture, violence and the death penalty. This truly makes me sick! --Angeldeb82 (talk) 17:28, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AIUSA is shut down!

[edit]

Something is wrong with Amnesty International USA's website! Every time I try to go to its website or its blogs, the loading screen takes forever, and I can't get to the website! It seems that AIUSA is completely shut down for maintenance! When will it be fixed?! :( --Angeldeb82 (talk) 00:19, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AIUSA is a reported attack page!

[edit]

Every time I try to go to the website link here, I keep getting a message that says that AIUSA's website is a reported attack page! This stinks! When will the website be deemed safe again?  :( --Angeldeb82 (talk) 23:27, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Ellsworth's contributions to Amnesty should probably be mentioned in tha history section.4meter4 (talk) 13:57, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
